Transwest Aero Services was founded by Scott Naumann, an airline captain with over 32,000 hours of experience. Scott’s 40+ years of flying has given him the ability to evaluate the subtlest details of an aircraft and understand how they affect valuation. But it is Scott’s attention to detail and dedication to accuracy that makes an appraisal from Transwest Aero Services stand out from the rest. Scott has flown professionally since 1979 and currently flies 757s and 767s for a major U.S. airline. He started his airline career as a flight engineer on DC-8’s and DC-10’s and his type ratings include the Boeing 727, 737, 757, 767, Douglas DC-3 and Fairchild SA-227 Metroliner.
Scott met his wife of 37 years at the airport of course and she is a licensed glider pilot. In their spare time they enjoy flying their 1950 Swift and their 1977 Cessna 180. Besides his professional ratings, Scott uses his aviation skills to mentor new pilots and to provide volunteer services to various animal rescue organizations. These non-profit organizations provide valuable services to the very neediest among us.
It is hard to imagine having a more experienced and knowledgeable pilot conduct or supervise your aircraft appraisal.
